What is a “community organizer”
ACORN is a national group of “community organizers”
Barack was a “community organizer”
Barack Obama once worked for ACORN (LINK)
Barack Obama paid $800,000 during the 2008 primary to an ACORN front group for a “registration drive” (LINK)
ACORN is being investigated in 14 states for voter fraud (LINK)
ACORN has been convicted in the past for voter fraud (LINK)
He told ACORN “community organizers”,
Let me say, before I even get innaugurated, during the transition we are gonna be calling all of you in to help us shape the agenda, we are going be having meetings all across the country with community organizations so that you have input into the agenda for the next presidency of the United States of America.
Isn’t that comforting?

Not all “community organizers” belong to ACORN…yet all community organizers belong to the communities they’re working to organize.
Very often the PEOPLE with whom they’re working are HOMELESS,and may be suffering from any one of certain disabilities…and lack the individual skills or abilities that many of us (more fortunate citizens and neighbors) take for granted!
The fundamental question every “community organizer” asks of themselves before working with a ‘Community’ or from a “community -based organization is:
“AM I MY BROTHER’s (or SISTER’s) KEEPER?”
Therefore, am I able to bear or assume responsibility ( in part, or whole) for changing the conditions that my (native or adopted) “COMMUNITY” is struggling with? If,…I can answer “YES…I CAN!” Then,…I’ve taken the First STEP in accepting the “JOB” of a community organizer!

Abe, it is true that not all “community organizers” belong to ACORN.
What they do have in common is the idea that it is a good idea to find grievances common among certain people in a community, helping them to organize so that they can demand that someone else address their problems.
These organizations pushed for mortgages for people who could not afford them…and got them. Other than helping to tear down the financial system, what have they accomplished?
They stand up against the police instead of embracing them. Housing projects still look like war zones. Inner city schools are still horrible. They claim Indians and Asians are gouging them when in fact Indians and Asians are the only ones who will take the risk of starting a business in crumbling cities. They come up with socialist ideas like “community markets”. What have they accomplished?
My poor immigrant relatives didn’t need a community organizer. They didn’t demand anything from others. They worked hard, played by the rules and built a better life for their kids.
Some community organizers may have good intentions. Liberals usually do. But as they say, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Speaking of “Am I my brother’s keeper?” How is Barack’s half brother doing these days?

True…”Asians and Indians” as you say work hard, play by the rules, and “take the risks’ incurred by starting a business in “CRUMBLING CITIES”…but at least they’re
INVESTING in those crumbling cities!
Where are those crumbling cities? In AMERICA!
That’s exactly where President-Elect Barack Obama ( ex-community-organizer) proposes to RE-INVEST our hard-earned TAX DOLLARS…toward rebuiding the “CRUMBLING” infrastructure of OUR cities…and NOT in IRAQ!
You proudly proclaim ( or profess) that your ‘HANDLE’ or ‘NICKNAME’ is
“ELEPHANT OWNER”…and applaud the exploits of “JOE the PLUMBER” who fixes YOUR pipes…( for a mutually determined FEE?) and that’s fine…for you!
You OWN your pipes don’t you ‘E-O’? Are you a LAND-LORD?
If so, WHO is responsible for fixing your tenants’ pipes when they crack after FREEZING from lack of HEAT?
Who was it that laboured to pave the streets that your “POOR IMMIGRANT” relatives re-settled into “E-O” ?
I’m certain that you’ve grasped what I’m getting at: ‘SOMEONE’ who didn’t OWN those streets…a city-WORKER…”paved-the-way” for your relatives in the HOPE of
SOMEDAY building a BETTER LIFE for OUR KIDS…(AMERICAN KIDS) ‘E-O’!
Lastly, I’m wondering what the EXIT POLLS say about those ASIAN, INDIAN
AFRICAN, or JAMAICAN immigrant BUSINESS OWNERS…and where they want their taxes to be used by their ‘EX’ community organizer PRESIDENT-ELECT?
Perhaps you’d like to VOTE again on the merits of Barack Obama’s TAX-CUT
priorities ‘E-O’? 15 BILLION DOLLARS a month to rebuild our “CRUMBLING
CITIES”…in OHIO, INDIANA, MICHIGAN,…or IRAQ?
It’s simple…E-O…are you an AMERICAN who’d rather address the NEEDS of your
extended family of “poor immigrant” BROTHER and SISTER TAX-PAYERS in AMERICA…and assume a GREATER RESPONSIBILITY for “FIXING the PIPES”?
Or, Are you WAITING…for the next WAVE of immigrants to arrive and ‘RE-SETTLE’ into our crumbling inner-cities…to FIX the PIPES for YOU?
Who is it that really ‘OWNS’ the RESPONSIBILITY for fixing the problems of
‘JOE-the ELEPHANT OWNER’…if it’s an AMERICAN ELEPHANT?
BARACK OBAMA is extending an opportunity to ALL AMERICANS to
“RE-OWN…a PIECE of the ROCK”!
Thanks for providing the SPACE…and the OPPORTUNITY for me to post E-O,…
I’m happy to be able to offer an opportunity for you to RETURN the FAVOR!
Peace and Health, and YES…GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Abe,
Do you need to own the toilet in order to get service from it? When my toilet breaks, I fix regardless of who owns it because I require it for sanitary reasons. It provides me a service regardless of ownership.
If the expenses out weighs the benefits or if there is an alternative, those decisions can be made on a case by case basis. For people with freedom, they can move to a better place. That opportunity is denied or limited to people living with government assistance.
In my opinion, there are many reasons that housing in inner cities is outrageously expensive and many of these reasons can be traced to government mandates. I believe the better solutions is to reduce government burdens that increase housing cost and let people remain free to make decision that best fit their situation. People who depend on the government our bound to have miserable lives, and that’s not good for anyone.
To answer your question about who is going to fix the cities…I say the cities should work to fix themselves. It is not the job of the federal government to fix the cities. The closest big city to me is Philadelphia. From my perspective, the corruption and poor management will continue as long as the suburbs and federal dollars continue to subsidize their ineffective and destructive policies. Cities should strive to be self reliant just as individuals do.
These are the policies that I support. I think it is wise to keep the decision makers close to the problem. Move the power out of Washington back to the people and the local communities so that they can take care of themselves. It just doesn’t make sense to me to have the federal government involved in anyone’s plumbing problems.
