What will it take?

Charles Rangel should be in serious trouble. It has been revealed that the man who leads the committee to write our tax code failed to report income from a Harlem building he sold. According to the NY Post, he failed to report $1.3 million dollars in “outside include”. (LINK)

How much corruption from a fellow Democrat can they take in Washington? So far the limit has not been reached.

When Republicans find corruption and scandal in their party, they cut their losses and rid their party of offenders…maybe too quickly sometimes. The Democrats never admit to anything and excuse offenses that can no longer be denied. How long can that last?

I wish a congressman from either party would pass legislation that would require that if a congressman is found to be “whatever terminology they wish to choose that means not ethical” then ALL costs from that point on, up to and including pensions etc will be responsibility of the local congressional district or state taxpayers and not the responsibility of the Federal Government. Guys like Rangle will never be voted out by his constituents, he knows it, and it shows in his unmitigated gall, his corruption, and his attitude about it. If the locals knew they were footing the bill for his retirement package, yearly wages, and other things maybe they would take it into their own hands and vote the their out of office. If they choose to keep him in office then let them pay for it. That goes for both sides of the aisle.

2 term limits for these elite crooks, even if they arrive with ethics they begin to believe they are godlike after a few terms, then they have so much money no one get beat them out.
2 term limit is the only way to save this country from being buried by this every deepening corruption

Mike: I agree 100%. Even the congressmen complain much of their time is taken up by fund raising. If they didn’t have to worry about it they might be more honest and effective.
