Back in 1972, the Republicans got caught trying to sway an election. They broke into the DNC headquarters at the Watergate hotel. The cover up that followed brought down President Nixon.
Today, the Democratic party has ties to a far-left group, ACORN which has been convicted many times of voter fraud. Again, we have a major political party trying to subvert our democracy. Have times changed…or just the political party?
In 1972, a major newspaper (Washington Post) investigated the problem and the guilty were punished. Today, another major newpaper (NY Times) killed the story. The NY Times is already on shaky financial ground, yet they continue to follow the partisan playbook. Their blind liberalism may lead to the demise of a once great newspaper.
