Redefining “Patriotism”
Liberals like to change the meaning of words and they are doing it again. This time President Obama says that jumping on board his 1 trillion dollar payoff to liberal groups and pet projects disguised as a “stimulus” bill is “patriotic.” (LINK)
Patriotic is the term used to describe Republicans who are siding with Obama.
During the campaign he took a stab at defining patriotism…at least he told us what didn’t define patriotism. Wearing a flag pin was certainly not a show of patriotism…in the Democratic Primary. It’s funny how that pin reemerged during the general election. Now that the Democrats are in power, the president is taking another stab at defining “patriotism.” He wants to rewrite the definition to mean “playing nice with the President.”
One of those Senators is from my state, Arlen Specter. Just for the record, the Republicans I know will refuse to vote for him in his upcoming re-election bid. Would it be un-patriotic to vote against a patriot? Is it unpatriotic to be Republican?
