Obama traveled to Ohio to tout his job program. He talked of a bridge that connects Ohio to Kentucky. Not coincidentally, the bridge connects the home states of John Boehner (the top Republican in the House) and Mitch McConnell (the top Republican in the Senate). Brilliant political theater you say?

No. It’s a political blunder from the boy genius.

Work on the bridge can’t happen until 2015. It is being held up by environmental studies…studies that will cost $18 million.

The people who drive over the bridge I’m sure are comforted by the fact the environment takes priority over their safety and  we can give the out-of-work bridge builders (if there are any) unemployment checks for another 4 years. The funny thing is, I wouldn’t even know about this folly if the President didn’t go out of his way to be witty.
