Once again, the Obama Administration shows no respect for the Constitution.
Today, it is the FCC (which is part of the Executive Branch). They have declared that they have the right to regulate the Internet under the guise of “Net Neutrality”. They have seized power to regulate something that might one day be a problem.
Congress wouldn’t create a law…so they just decided to snatch the power anyway.
We were told that Barack Obama was a “Constitutional Scholar”. He must of studied the Constitution only enough to figure out how to subvert it.
Barack Obama’s Justice Department wants to fundamentally change America…
“Equal justice under law” is an ideal to which the Obama administration does not aspire. Rather, as the most divisive administration in memory, it has friends, and it has enemies. Its thumb is always on the scale, one way or another…read more
WikiLeaks has a cables from American diplomats stating that Michael Moore’s ridiculous portrayal of the Cuban health care system was banned in Cuba.
Immediately, the blogosphere on the right side of the political spectrum ran with it.
Then Michael Moore came out and said it was a lie.
Then the blogosphere on the left side of the political spectrum ran with it.
So what is the truth?
The truth is:
- Michael Moore’s movie is ridiculous
- Communists and socialist ban movies, books or any speech they find troubling
- WikiLeaks did have a cable from American diplomats saying the film was banned in Cuba
If it wasn’t banned in Cuba, I would be surprised. The story of banning the movi is so believable because Michael Moore’s health care fantasy is not.
And I thought the New York Times was only good as fish wrapper…

Republicans are on the right track…Democrats continue the tax and spend ways.
A new analysis by a group of federal-spending watchdogs shows a striking imbalance between the parties when it comes to earmark requests. Democrats remain raging spenders, while Republicans have made enormous strides in cleaning up their act. In the Senate, the GOP made only one-third as many earmark requests as Democrats for 2011, and in the House, Republicans have nearly given up earmarking altogether — while Democrats roll on.

There are two things I could say nearly daily
- Can you imagine if a Republican said that?
- I told you so. Global Warming is a hoax.
Today’s “Global Warming is a hoax” is brought to you by “World Climate Report”
About 15 to 20 years ago, folks began to notice problems in amphibian communities around the world. At first, physical deformities were being noticed and then large population declines were being documented.
The finger was initially pointed at the coal industry, with an idea that perhaps mercury was leading to the deformities. But this didn’t pan out. Next, farm practices came under fire, as excess fertilizer running off into farm ponds became the leading suspect. But that theory didn’t hold water either. Then, attention turned to the ozone hole, with the idea that increased ultraviolet radiation was killing the frogs. No luck there either.
Then came the Eureka moment—aha, it must be global warming!
This played to widespread audiences, received beaucoup media attention and, of course, found its way into Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth.
But, alas, this theory, too, wilted under the harsh glare of science, as new research has now pretty definitively linked an infection of the chytrid fungus to declines, and even local extinctions, of frog and toad species around the world.

Democrats say ObamaCare is Constitutional under the interstate commerce clause. What a load. We aren’t allowed to buy health insurance from another state. If they want to reduce health insurance while staying true to the Constitution, force states to allow competition from out-of-state insurance companies.

Vote for the Most Outrageous Liberal Media Quotes of 2010. You should make up your own mind, but my favorite is:
“How does the neo-conservative right, the hawkish right, find such success in finding these empty vessels like her? Like W.? Like, like Quayle? They find these empty vessels who know nothing about the world! Nothing about foreign policy! Who immediately begin to spout the neo-con line. I read her book — it’s full of that crap. Where, where do they find these people? They went on a cruise up there? What [Bill] Kristol and Fred Barnes went on some cruise to Alaska and they found her standing at the docks with an empty head saying, ‘I’m willing to say what you want me to say.’”
Chris Matthews
How’s that thrill up your leg, Chris? You spout the liberal crap on a daily basis and broadcast it to millions of TV…all of whom have chosen to watch anything but you.

A federal judge has ruled ObamaCare to be un-Constitutional. This is just the beginning of the end.
Gee…good thing we didn’t spend trillions of dollars to fix a non-problem.
New NASA model: Doubled CO2 means just 1.64°C warming
…green plants can be expected to grow as they find it easier to harvest carbon from the air around them using energy from the sun: thus introducing a negative feedback into the warming/carbon process. Most current climate models don’t account for this at all, according to Bounoua. Some do, but they fail to accurately simulate the effects – they don’t allow for the fact that plants in a high-CO2 atmosphere will “down-regulate” and so use water more efficiently.
Bounoua and her colleagues write:
Increase in precipitation contributes primarily to increase evapotranspiration rather than surface runoff, consistent with observations, and results in an additional cooling effect not fully accounted for in previous simulations with elevated CO2.

A small tribe of primative humans are roaming the plains of Africa. They spend their day searching for nuts and hunting small animals for food. Each day they head out as individuals seeking the days meal.
Let’s say that one person in the tribe has a great memory and can remember the locations of all the great nut gathering areas. Another person is a skilled hunter and brings in many birds. These two may look at the days work each night and long for something more. The nut gatherer longs for some bird and the hunter longs for some nuts.
They decide to trade. Each wins.
It’s a simple story, so what is the point? The trade is economics. I use it to explain supply side economics. The trade was made possible by there being abundance. The suppliers were able to increase their supply to such an extent that the trade was beneficial to both.
I’ll tell you what didn’t happen in this story. The tribe didn’t sit around and decide that they wanted birds and nuts and then just take it from the suppliers. Only fear and tyranny could make the suppliers submit to such a deal.
Barack Obama’s economic philosophy says that we can take birds and nuts from the suppliers and give them to other who supply little, and the ones who receive the food will distribute it for other products and it will be better for everyone.
That makes no sense at all.

The New York Times reports on the beautiful, trendy people.
“If you can’t afford to hire a bartender,” he added, “you shouldn’t be having a party.”
Arrogant? Oh, yea.
I was up in New York City recently. It’s like going to the zoo. The animals are interesting because you rarely get a chance to see such strange creatures in there natural habitat. This is the world that the Main Stream Media lives in and adores.

We spend a lot of money on athletics. You could argue that this is frivolous, but spending on sports is also the cutting edge of health. Athletes get hurt and surgery techniques to get athletes back on the field are now used on us mere mortals so we can get back to our office cubicles.
Stretchable silicon electronics that offer the computing power of rigid chips could make their way into Reebok’s athletic apparel in the coming years. The company will work with MC10, a startup maker of flexible electronics, to develop sportswear that incorporates electronics to monitor athletes’ health and performance during training and rehabilitation…read more
This could lead to some great stuff for all of us. Many doctor visit and remedies are a shot in the dark. Your doctor has a short time to look you over. With electronics embedded in your clothes, your doctor can review your condition and your environment to look for correlations.
Of course, it could lead to some creepy stuff too…like clothing manufacturers monitoring you. Just because you can do something, doesn’t mean you should.
The socialist senator from Vermont, Bernie Sanders asks when millionaires when is enough, enough. The federal government will spend nearly 3.5 trillion dollars this year. Now he want to tax more. So Mr. Sanders, when is enough, enough?
