Mohamed O. Mohamud has been arrested for tying to blow up a car bomb at a Christmas event. He is a 19 year old U.S. citizen born in Somalia. This is simply another case were profiling would have singled out this guy. We keep hearing that if we profile, the terrorist will just find someone who is outside the typical profile. I say fine. They will have to leave their comfort zone and that will make them more vulnerable.

Michelle Malkin has a good run down of all the terrorist plots in the last decade. You will quickly see there is a commonality amongst the terrorist.

So let’s stop padding down old white women dressed in nun habits and focus on the young men with Muslim names. And when CAIR complains as we know they will, we should stand as a nation to say “Shut the hell up”.

Profiling? Are you aware this guy’s lived here since he was 3? Are you aware that the entire “plot” was spoon fed to him over a period of months by the FBI itself who supplied him with everything from a place to live after losing his job, to the car, the location, the date, time, and of course, the bomb itself. THEY contacted HIM and coaxed this hapless idiot with no criminal record in his life to get riled up enough to simply say “yes” to the whole plan they wrote FOR him. A process that took MONTHS to finally bring to fruition. If you think this is a stellar example of your government protecting you from scary muslims who are on the verge of total world domination then you’re as ignorant as they come. What they did was the equivalent of cops sending an undercover, beautiful call girl to hit on a father/husband who’s stressed out about work and just had a fight with his wife, then arresting him when he finally says “yes.” It’s ENTRAPMENT.

Maybe instead of reading Malkin or the NYTimes who only bother to give 15% of the story, and merely parrot the FBI’s narrative, you should read the great work of an ACTUAL journalist here:

You could spoon feed the plot to me, I wouldn’t entertain the thought of blowing up hundreds of people for one second. According to you and Glenn Greenwald, Muslims are not smart enough to do the same. Greenwald excuses Mohamud because he couldn’t get his dream job. Well, there are millions of Americans out of work right now and 99.999% of them are not dreaming up terrorist attacks. If giving an unemployed person $3000 is all it takes to turn an average American into a suicide bomber (as Greenwald suggests), then we are indeed in deep trouble.

It is not entrapment. You conveniently ignore the fact that this particular Mohamud made the first contact with terrorist overseas. That’s how he ended up on the FBI’s radar screen in the first place.

Calling Glen Greewald an “ACTUAL journalist” is the biggest crime of all.

C’mon folks, lets get a real thought. Elephant Owner is totally right! The last two years of my life have not been exactly Nirvana, but amazingly I haven’t entertained even one thought of blowing up anything at all! We MUST forget the PC crap and start looking for these typical radicals who will do nothing but kill us if they get a chance!
