So a guy shows up in your office and says, “I am sorry to tell you this, but I think my son is a radical Muslim.” The response should be obvious. This guy aint getting into my country! Ah, but that logical course of action didn’t happen. We don’t know why it didn’t get done. We may never know, but there is a lesson to be learned.
How can a federal government that is so big it can’t seem to do something as simple as stopping a known Muslim radical from climbing on a jet bound for an Americans city tackle the job of improving health care? This lapse in judgement and competence could have led to the death of hundreds of Americans.
With this in mind, think about the information required for wise medical decision. My medical history spans many years, many hospitals, many doctors and many states. Wise decision require knowledge of my history and my family history. Will this decision be taken more seriously than issues of national defense. After all, there is only one life (mine) depending on wise health care decisions. If I suffer with a rash for years or diabetes goes undetected until my eyes are damaged, it isn’t going to make the national news like a jet exploding over a major city.
If the government can’t handle an easy decision, they won’t be able to handle difficult decisions. Let the system breakdown that allowed the BVD bomber to fly to Detroit be a warning. Government will ruin the health care system in this country if we don’t put a stop to the progressives in Washington.
