Democrats are frequently invoking science or the opinion of un-named, generic scientists.
Henry Waxmax just made the claim in the hearings on Cap and Tax. (Hat Tip to Michelle Malkin)

Don’t buy it. The Democrats have politicized science. Jim Hanson at NASA is nothing but a political advocate for Global Warming. Even as the case for global warming is falling apart, they still cling to an international body of  “scientists” whose motive is far from pure.

The Democrats  control the purse strings that fund scientist and therefore the can gain the consensus on any scientific subjest they want. They have redefined the term “political science”
