I have used the “Culture of Corruption” to describe the rampant corruption brought on by Democratic majorities. Corruption that has been far worse than anything the Republicans ever did. The problem with using this phrase is that it has been tied to Republicans. When you use it, it reminds people that Republicans were corrupt too.

Although trolling for gays in the bathrooms isn’t in the same league as selling a Senate seat vacated by the newly elected President, it still brings back painful memories. (I can’t take wide stance at the urinal anymore with shaking my head in disgust).

   I think I like Cloud of Corruption or Corruption Cloud because their corruption has grown so enormous, it covers the landscape and dampens the spirits of all who lie under it.
